Paul Doucette is an American musician known for being the drummer and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty. He was born on August 22, 1972, in North Huntington, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his work with Matchbox Twenty, Doucette has also pursued a solo career, releasing an album titled "Milk the Bee" in 2013 under the moniker of The Break and Repair Method.
Doucette is known for his versatile musical abilities, playing multiple instruments and contributing vocals to Matchbox Twenty's songs. He has also collaborated with other artists, including singer-songwriter Rob Thomas.
Outside of music, Doucette is a passionate advocate for animal rights and has worked with organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States.
